Cyber Security Support Services
 

As a subcontractor, CDS has provided the US Congress with services across each of the contract's tasks, including network security monitoring/analysis and security incident reporting, soc management, process management, cyber threat analysis, security research and engineering and test and evaluation of new it security products, soc automation, vulnerability analysis and assessment, soc it engineering and operations, enterprise client security (endpoint protection) engineering and operations.

 
Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Directorate of the CIO
Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND) Services

 

As a subcontractor, CDS has provided the DIA CIO office with technical support services in the areas of cyber threat and incident analysis, incident response, incident handling, counterintelligence analysis and monitoring, and infrastructure support, systems engineering, systems operations and maintenance.  With members on the DIA Threat Mitigation Cells Trend Analysis Team, CDS has reviewed intelligence, damage assessments, and lessons learned to develop new rulesets and detection methods for a broad range of Insider Threats, and researched emerging technologies for possible DIA application.

As a subcontractor, CDS has provided SME support to DISA Joint Testing and Evaluation (JT&E).  CDS has researched and documented Department of Defense (DoD) CNDSP tactics, techniques, and procedures (TIP) to standardize and provide effective and efficient practices that guide the day-to-day execution of the computer network defense mission. Additionally, CDS has researched and documented CNDSP Performance Evaluation Framework TTPs that provide a methodical, repeatable, and verifiable framework and instructions to measure DoD CNDSPs from a performance perspective. Upon QRT completion, these standardized DoD CNDSP TTPs were incorporated as a requirement within the DoD 8530 series, which addresses computer network defense and vulnerability management issues.

National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC), United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT)
Cyber Security Operations Support Services

 

As a subcontractor, CDS supports the DHS NCCIC.  NCCIC is comprised of four branches and one support team, and CDS provides support to two of those branches, the NCCIC Operations & Integration (NO&I) branch and the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) branch. NO&I plans, coordinates, and integrates capabilities to synchronize analysis, information sharing, and incident management efforts across the NCCIC's branches and activities. The US-CERT brings advanced network and digital media analysis expertise to bear on malicious activity targeting our nation’s networks. CDS also supports the NCCIC’s National Cybersecurity Assessments and Technical Services (NCATS) team. The NCATS team supports the NCCIC’s mission by offering cybersecurity scanning and penetration testing services to provide remediation and mitigation recommendations, allowing the stakeholder to improve their cybersecurity posture through findings provided by the NCATS team.
